The Children’s Campaign is but weeks away from initiating its non-partisan electoral advocacy campaign for 2010! The goal is for every candidate and every existing public official, whether on the ballot or not, to adopt and support a pro-active children’s agenda.
With support from many children’s organizations, networks and associations, the Children’s Campaign has completed an advanced draft of its 2010 Policy Handbook. This publication will be delivered to candidates, the media, and citizens across the state.
This year’s edition has new features to go along with the issue briefs, including insights into the revenue picture and an easier to follow delineation of recommended state and federal actions.
This is not the final draft. Therefore, it is not intended for print or distribution and can’t be downloaded or copied. The purpose for sending the link today is to encourage review of the publication and to request ideas for changes, additions and comments.
THE DEADLINE FOR RECEIVING COMMENTS IS FEBRUARY 9th.
You can easily register your responses using the comment page. To have your input included requires the entire comment sheet to be filled out.
Thanks for your time and your commitment to Florida’s children.
Sincerely,
Roy Miller
President
